      1. 6. What's my part in the design process?

        1. Complimentary Design Consultation is available for all albums. When you check "Consultation Requested" on the order form, our designer will contact you just before the design process begins to discuss your photographic vision and elements your client would like to see incorporated into the design. You can also choose to "code" your images to let our designer know exactly which images you would like to "feature" prominently in the design. Furthermore you will be given the opportunity to review the design via a proof before it is finalized. See our Album Specs Page for further information.

      2. 7. Can text be added to a design?

        1. Absolutely ! Text is a wonderful way to further enhance the story unfolding through out the pages. When designed correctly, text also adds another graphic element along with the clients own personal touch creating a more intimate experience. Submitting text is easy, just include a Word (.doc) or Text (.txt) file with your images. Make sure you or your clients check it twice for content and spelling (we do not correct spelling) and don't forget to credit the authors (legally required).

      3. 8. Can you color correct my images?

        1. All pages are complimentary color balanced by us for overall aesthetics, quality, and printing method to be used (RGB vs.CMYK). We request that all images be individually color corrected/balanced on a calibrated monitor in RGB/8bit by yourself and saved without any profile. If you would like us to individually color correct your images there is an associated fee. Please contact us for pricing.

      4. 9. What type of files do you accept?

        1. We accept Jpeg RGB/8bit saved at the highest quality [ in photoshop this is = "12"). Using a program such as "WinZip" to package your files is preferable since it will keep all your images together.

      5. 10. Can I make Changes to a layout?

        1. Certainly. We allow up to 4 complimentary page changes. Anything above and beyond may incur a fee. Please contact us for details.

      6. 11. How are the designs delivered?

        1. The files are delivered as high quality Jpegs on either CD or DVD. We can also upload them to your FTP site upon request.

      7. 12. How long does the design process take?

        1. Because our albums are truly hand designed and can involve very intricate layouts, text, and custom blending, there is usually a waiting period of up to three weeks before design begins (this can increase closer to the holiday season). We want to impress upon you that we do not produce "factory or template albums" . Each album is a unique artistic expression designed by our award winning designer.
